What you can expect from Atlas
Our 70-strong team includes training, technology and sector experts with in-depth knowledge of the issues facing oil and gas companies and other safety-critical industries. We understand the technical, compliance and safety imperatives for any company involved in hydrocarbon production and oil and gas processing.
We're in the business of communication. We can express technical content in a way that engages a broad base of people using multimedia techniques. We understand how to reach learners in different languages, with varying levels of IT literacy, and with different internet connectivity. And we'll focus learning so that it meets your particular business and performance objectives.
We'll work closely with you and your stakeholders to understand your organisation and your learners. Then we'll develop a solution that's designed to meet your challenges - either using our content library or by creating a more bespoke solution. Our teams comprise experts in technical disciplines - in health, safety, environment, quality, energy industry issues. We have qualified instructors, instructional designers and workplace assessors. And we have experienced technical authors and consultants, and highly creative graphic designers, media specialists, video producers, animators, editors and programmers.
Accreditations
Our technical courses deliver internationally recognised certificates from organisations such as BTEC and OPITO.
As part of our continuing partnership with OPITO, in 2011 we were commissioned to deliver International Minimum Industry Safety Training (IMIST) on a global scale across the oil and gas industry. This is on the basis of our success as sole provider of the oil and gas sectors award-winning e-learning Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST), which has now been delivered to over 49,000 experienced workers in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS).
We were recognised by E-learning Age as the silver winner of the E-learning Awards in 2010 for our innovative adaptive learning technology - Fast Track, which we now apply to our courses.
