aNewSpring to host two sessions at the EADL conference in Copenhagen
aNewSpring is proud to announce that both Ger Driesen and Martèn de Prez from aNewSpring will speak at the 2017 European Association for Distance Learning (EADL) conference. Ger Driesen will speak about how to engage learners in a 100-year life, focusing on the role of learning. Martèn de Prez’s session will cover practical cases on how technology helps people learn.
“The future is hard to predict but some trends are not. Being aware of ‘hard trends’ and ‘soft trends’ can be very helpful to prepare for the future. For example, people in Europe are living longer and longer and a 100-year life will be normal for those born today. We also know the ‘half time’ of knowledge is decreasing: nobody can build a full career based on their initial education. Let’s see what this means for learning & development.”, says Ger Driesen, Learning Innovation Leader of aNewSpring.
“The best way to engage learners is by offering them inspiring learning journeys. Technology can be very helpful to support learners with social learning, adaptive learning and gamified learning. At EADL, I’ll cover some of the most practical cases I’ve worked on.”, says Martèn de Prez, managing director and co-owner of aNewSpring.
The 2017 EADL conference takes place in Copenhagen, on May 18th and 19th. The event programme can be found on EADL’s website.
