CM Group’s latest version of its Luminosity Learning Management System powers the extended enterprise
CM Group today announced the latest release of its next generation Luminosity Learning Management System (LMS). With a number of new and enhanced features, the latest release is designed to empower organisations and their extended enterprise.
Alex Mackman, Technical Director at CM Group said, “Recognised as a ‘Top 3 Mobile LMS’ worldwide, Luminosity is a true cloud LMS designed to serve learners inside and also outside an organisation as part of their extended enterprise, such as suppliers, distributors, partners and customers.”
Luminosity’s enhanced catalogue management and curriculum management features enable greater targeting of learning content. On a global scale, learners can be targeted with relevant, tailored and timely learning content based on their location, department, role and many other criteria – providing organisations with the ability to deliver personalised learning programmes to their own learners and selected external audiences who interact with them.
New event management features enable organisations to manage events, training sessions and other learning activities, including classroom training, instructor led training, webinars and even social activities. The Luminosity LMS also provides organisations with the ability to manage classroom seating allocations and event waiting lists.
With a redesigned desktop and mobile user interface, Luminosity’s modern and intuitive learner portal provides learners with easy access to eLearning courses, training and reference materials, performance support tools, just-in-time training and physical and virtual events regardless of their location. Companion mobile learning Apps for iOS, Android and Windows 8 devices support offline content consumption with automatic resynchronisation of learner tracking data.
Additional REST APIs enable the Luminosity LMS to seamlessly integrate with an even greater number of business and management solutions, including existing LMSs and internal HR systems.
Some of the largest organisations worldwide, including Telefónica, Microsoft, RBS and Three, are already experiencing the benefits of Luminosity.
Mackman concluded, “We are delivering proven leading-edge features today that provide the world’s largest organisations with an ultra-modern learning platform. The Luminosity LMS supports the very latest innovation and thinking from the learning industry, including mobile delivery, gamification, social learning and fully integrated support for Tin Can (Experience API) including an integrated Learning Record Store (LRS).”
