‘Mobile learning beyond the fad’: Learning Technologies Summer Forum with Agylia
Agylia will be at the Learning Technologies 2018 Summer Forum to explore why mobile learning and microlearning are no longer fads and should instead be seen as primary and genuine methods of learning delivery.
Alex Mackman, Technical Director at Agylia said, “The demand for mobile learning solutions, the popularity of video-based training and the expectation for information to be available on demand are all guaranteeing that mobile learning and microlearning are here to stay. Support for mobile shouldn’t be an afterthought, but should feature prominently, right at the centre of your L&D initiatives.”
Mobile learning beyond the fad: how, where and why it really works will be presented by Alex at 11:30 - 12:00 in Seminar Theatre 1.
Mobile learning and microlearning have been major talking points in corporate learning and development for many years. This session will explain why they must feature at the centre of any modern, digital learning strategy. The session will also:
- identify the mobile learning myths from the reality
- examine top scenarios ideally suited to mobile learning
- show how to incorporate mobile within a broader digital learning strategy
- showcase what effective mobile learning looks like
- define platform and content requirements for effective mobile learning delivery
The Agylia team will be on Stand 34 to show visitors the full capabilities and potential of mobile learning and microlearning.
Agylia will showcase the Agylia Learning Management System (LMS), an agile, mobile and social platform that enables organisations worldwide to deliver their eLearning and microlearning courses, videos and performance support resources all in one powerful learning portal.
With the range of Agylia mobile learning Apps, for iOS and Android devices, learners can access their digital learning resources anywhere - even offline - encouraging much greater engagement with L&D programmes.
