Creativedge to showcase new interactive Virtual Training programme at Learning & Skills 2015
Creativedge will host a live, interactive, demonstration of its new bite-size Virtual Training at the Learning & Skills Exhibition 2015. The new VT will allow organisations the chance to give staff all the advantages of a highly interactive, fully integrated classroom training programme, whilst at the same time overcoming the barriers of geography, travel costs and staff availability.
Creativedge Training’s Mark McCormack and Colette Johnson will co-host a live, Virtual Training demonstration at the Learning Technologies and Learning and Skills Exhibition 2015, to show how its new VT allows organisations the chance to give staff all the advantages of a highly interactive, fully integrated classroom training programme whilst at the same time overcoming the barriers of geography, travel costs and availability.
Launched to bring Creativedge bite-sized management, leadership, business and personal development courses to a wider audience, its new virtual bite-sized training courses are already being used by brands like Ralph Lauren EMEA to train its overseas people, and EE, the UK’s most advanced digital communications company.
Enabled by the Adobe Connect Platform, the VT requires no software installation and also features a variety of tools built-in to the new learning platform to facilitate a multi-directional flow of information for all participants.
Key benefits of the new virtual training include:-
- Offers audio, video and text interaction
Participants can ask questions verbally or can type them using the built-in ‘chat’ function to contact the trainer or others in the session. In fact, many people often prefer text interaction when the sessions are underway; instead of interrupting the presenter each time, they simply use the ‘chat’ window to type in their comments or questions. And if the question is for the trainer, he/she can then addresses all comments/questions when they take a pause.
- Less interruptions in VT compared to live training
As VT is on a virtual platform, the content is more likely to keep on track than face-to-face training because participants can be muted to avoid distraction and interruptions. As Creativedge VT has designated ‘windows’ for Q&As, discussions, and off-line collaboration or “homework,” the training can be delivered efficiently, both in terms of cost and time.
