Value in Return for Investment: Exploiting the Benefits of eAssessment and Learning is the theme of this year’s Assessment Tomorrow Conference 2012 taking place at the Grosvenor Hilton Hotel. Edinburgh, on Thursday 22 November.
The conference will focus on how technology can deliver benefits for the learner, teacher or school, college or training provider, looking at the practical issues of selecting, implementing and using eAssessment and related technologies and techniques.
As well as exhibiting at the conference, Linda Steedman will be hosting a session on Using Adaptive Assessment for Change Management.
eCom’s clients have been using adaptive assessment where it has traditionally been difficult to gain in-depth information such as : Labour Market information; CPD needs analysis; 360’s; Leadership; Emotional Intelligence; Culture; and Training Needs Analysis. With eCom’s assessment engine eNetAssess™ , the adaptive nature built into this assessment tool allows the creation of a complex question flow, such as where the user‘s response to a question predicts the next question or set of questions asked (branching), or where the question is designed to allow choices pulled from a variety of database tables.
eCom has been providing world-class eLearning solutions for the last 16 years. Linda is currently a member of the Board of the eAssessment Association and past chair of the eLearning Alliance, so has a wealth of expertise in this field. Linda regularly composes articles and research papers for a variety of publications including the International Journal of eAssessment (Cambridge), e-Assessment in Practise and (Cranfield).
