Engage in Learning makes an appearance at CIPD’s Festival of Work
The e-learning supplier, Engage in Learning, will be dispensing its experience and expertise at the Festival of Work. This CIPD-organised conference and exhibition takes place in London’s Olympia on 12th and 13th June.
The event – a combination of three previous events – sees some 160 speakers provide insights on HR and learning and development (L&D) related topics via three conferences, comprising more than 50 conference sessions, split into three streams. These sessions include masterclasses to provoke insight; case studies to explore solutions; panel discussions; short talks to explore various perspectives, and mini-workshop taster sessions of vital skills for success in today’s world of work.
“The CIPD Festival of Work brings together two CIPD events - the Learning and Development and HR Software and Recruitment shows – and adds a new dimension in relating these to The Future of Work,” commented Chris Horseman, Engage in Learning’s Managing Director. “We’re taking part in this Festival because we believe that the result will be a key event that will power people’s working future.
“At the event in Olympia, we’re looking forward to meeting a large number of business leaders, along with HR and L&D professionals, who want to be equipped with practical solutions to meet the challenges of the world of work – bearing in mind that a recent study, ‘The Future of Jobs’, from The World Economic Forum, reveals that over half the global workforce will require significant up-skilling and re-skilling by 2024,” he added.
“Engage in Learning aims to give those who visit us – on Stand D134 – at the Festival of Work, some enlightenment and inspiration to enable them make the most effective use of the learning content and learning delivery technologies available,” said Kate Carter, Marketing Manager of Engage in Learning.
“The future comes with a fresh set of challenges for people and organisations. We believe that, through the application of high-quality learning content and learning technologies, it’s possible to up-skill and re-skill people to be increasingly productive. It’s also possible to use this approach to re-think how we lead organisations, manage people and how we embrace technology and innovation to increase business success while also creating a better society for all.”
In particular, Engage in Learning is keen to demonstrate its e-learning solutions that help organisations improve their safety, compliance and performance.
“Our courses are mobile-compatible, and editable to include clients’ own policies, procedures or other information so that these learning materials can be entirely relevant for learners,” Kate Carter explained. “Users can access courses through their organisation’s LMS, Engage in Learning’s LMS, which is free to use for up to 500 learners - or we can supply a dedicated Totara system.”
