Jo Cook to lead TJ
Training Journal, the longest-standing learning publication, at 58 years, has appointed Jo Cook as Editor.
Jo Cook is the new editor of Training Journal, taking over from Debbie Carter. Cook is best known for her virtual classroom expertise and leading L&D webinars and events and conferences. She has a background in instructional design, train-the-trainer and facilitation and is an experienced contributor across the L&D media, including for TJ over the years.
Jo Cook: “it very much feels like a long-term dream has come true to be the editor of a journal that focuses on helping people to help people.”
“What I want is to ensure that TJ is here to celebrate it’s 60th birthday in 2025 and that it serves the many and varied roles in the people profession. Of course there will be coverage of AI and technology, practical L&D topics and some things to get us thinking too.”
Learning News' Rob Clarke caught up with Jo to ask her about her priorities for TJ at what is being described as an 'inflection point' for our industry.
