Fosway Group partners with HR tech event pioneers UNLEASH on 2025’s HR Realities
Fosway Group, in association with UNLEASH, has launched the latest wave of its HR Realities research. Now in its 12th year, the research explores how HR teams are managing their people strategies against a backdrop of uncertain economics, digital transformation, talent shortages, AI proliferation and shifting workplace dynamics.
As HR teams navigate a constantly changing landscape of work that produces an endless array of challenges and opportunities, Fosway Group’s partnership with an events leader and publisher like UNLEASH on this latest iteration of HR Realities is much anticipated, once again. The survey opens on 4 July, running over the summer of 2025, with the first results and insights shared exclusively at UNLEASH World, their Paris event on 20-22 October.
“As we pass a decade partnering with Fosway on the HR Realities research, the insights have never been more crucial. AI is no longer a future vision. It’s reshaping performance, learning, and workforce expectations in real time,” said Viktoria Tripp, Head of Experience and Analyst Relations at UNLEASH. “This research shines a light on how HR can drive innovation and empower people through technological change, while staying anchored in the human connection that defines meaningful work. We’re proud to share the insights with our global HR community at UNLEASH.”
Last year's research findings revealed the ongoing importance of skills availability, with 63% of respondents considering it their most significant business challenge. Also high on the HR agenda was organisational performance (62%), showing clearly that amidst an industry whose rules are being rewritten by AI’s potential, a people-centred HR strategy is critical.
This year's research will look at how HR leaders and their teams make space to thrive in this environment of change, exploring areas including AI adoption, ecosystem developments, budgeting/investment and priorities for the year ahead.
“In the past 12 months Fosway has dug even deeper into the realities of AI in HR with a forensic analysis of vendors’ AI capabilities and roadmaps. Even now the pace of change is truly phenomenal, and HR experiences are reaching a tipping point,” commented David Perring, Fosway Group’s Chief Insights Officer and lead analyst on the research. “As we gear up to help organisations navigate through this maelstrom of innovation the most important part of that story is the evolution of HR, and the people experience. This year's HR Realities is focused on exactly how well HR is navigating the storm; Who's following the groupthink and what the genuine innovators are doing. The realities of HR are changing and, now in its 12th year, insights into what's really working has never been more important.”
