Check out Microsoft's 2007 line up: Windows Vista, Office 2007 and Exchange 2007
Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Office 2007 and Microsoft Exchange 2007 have been made available at Global Knowledge's training centres in the UK for delegates to check out in advance of the products' general market release.
Europe’s largest independent IT training company, Global Knowledge, is giving customers access to Microsoft Windows Vista RC2 and Microsoft Office 2007 from the delegate breakout areas in its London, Wokingham, Coventry and Wakefield training centres. The company is also running sneak preview workshops and training courses in Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Exchange 2007 to enable customers to gain better understanding of these new Microsoft software products before the official release dates.
The half day Microsoft Windows Vista sneak preview course provides IT Managers and support professionals with an insight into the features and capabilities of the product.
Thomas Lee, Microsoft Chief Architect at Global Knowledge who developed the Microsoft Windows Vista sneak preview, which covers deployment and security issues, group policy, reliability, performance, manageability and productivity, sees this as an important development for Global Knowledge and the early adopters of Microsoft Windows Vista: “I am very excited about the new courses that we have developed and confirms our position as Europe’s leading provider of Windows Vista training courses. Our training team is gaining valuable experience with Microsoft Windows Vista so that we’re in the strongest possible position to help our customers to get to grips with it.”
Global Knowledge’s half-day Microsoft Exchange 2007 sneak preview workshop, also a ‘first to market’ for the company, covers a brief history of Exchange and an introduction to the new features of Exchange 2007 as well as installation tips and topics, such as Powershell, transport and routing, security and high availability.
“Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 delivers the advanced protection and security, anywhere access and operational efficiency that organisations now demand. Skills in Microsoft Exchange 2007 are set to be in high demand and Global Knowledge is leading the learning provider community by again being first market with courses on the latest Microsoft technologies. The half-day Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 sneak preview workshops are available from 11 December at our Wokingham training centre,” added Thomas Lee.
