Global Knowledge first to market with Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 training
Global Knowledge is to run Microsoft's new four day Live Communications Server instructor led training course 'Implementing Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005' from its training centres across EMEA.
Microsoft Live Communications Server (LCS) is an enterprise communications server that delivers instant messaging as part of a scalable solution that offers enhanced security and a seamless integration with other Microsoft products.
Thomas Lee, Microsoft Chief Architect at Global Knowledge said: "Live Communication Server allows instant communication with work colleagues using Instant Messenger, real time collaboration of information using Office system products and SharePoint Services and simple remote access to network information and Video Conferencing facilities. Many of our clients are implementing Live Communications Server and we expect interest in the training course to be high. Implementing Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 training will be available across our UK operation from December 2006, and again confirms Global Knowledge as the leading learning services provider on new Microsoft technologies."
Jeff Smithies, Global Knowledge's Microsoft Product Director for EMEA added "Live Communication Server is a key technology in the Unified Communication portfolio and naturally compliments similar curricula where Global Knowledge is the natural partner of choice. Customers are able to learn more about how to benefit from and implement the capabilities of Live Communication Server by attending one of the many events that Global Knowledge has scheduled at its training centres across Europe."
