London, UKLearning NewsGlobal Knowledge

Global Knowledge and Fox IT have announced a strategic partnership to provide the UK with the best-of-breed IT Service Management and Governance consultancy and learning solutions.

Global Knowledge, Europe’s leading provider of learning services for IT and management professionals, and Fox IT, a global provider of IT Service Management and Governance solutions and services, have signed a landmark partnership agreement to provide a complete range of learning services and consultancy solutions for corporate and public sector clients.

From September 2007, Global Knowledge will run a wide-ranging Service Management public course schedule on behalf of the two companies while Fox IT will focus on developing consultancy and private training engagements in the UK and across EMEA. In terms of publicly-scheduled courses Global Knowledge now provides a reliable and comprehensive range of introductory to advanced level ITIL version 3 courses. This breadth of courses will also include ISO 20000 and COBIT training – all delivered from Global Knowledge’s centres across the UK.

Frank Hojgaard, Managing Director of Global Knowledge, is excited about the opportunity this presents for the UK organisation. He states “Only nine months ago we didn’t deliver any ITIL training courses directly ourselves. Since then we have worked closely with Fox IT to establish Global Knowledge as the leading provider of ITIL training in the UK. We were one of the first training companies in the country to launch and run ITIL version 3 courses and our focus has always been on providing high quality, value for money ITIL training.”

This new agreement with Fox IT will further enhance Global Knowledge’s Service Management course portfolio in the UK and across Europe. Hojgaard adds “We have already identified a number of mutually beneficial training and consultancy projects from both of our international client bases and I am a looking forward to working closely with Fox IT on both these and other strategic opportunities.”

Paul Speers, CEO of Fox IT, is also extremely enthusiastic about the new agreement. He says “The IT Service Management market is currently experiencing double digit growth. As a joint force with Global Knowledge in the provision of public training courses, we are able to offer our clients a wider variety of course locations in five different languages”.
