Global Knowledge raises the bar in international training outsourcing with SOLVE
Global Knowledge is introducing SOLVE, a learning project management methodology, to raise the bar in the international training outsourcing market and to position its recently-introduced Total Learning Approach service as the number-one choice for managed training contracts.
"We feel there is significant room for improvement in the management of training outsourcing contracts, particularly large-scale contracts and this is why we have introduced SOLVE™. By applying a structured methodology to the management of these contracts, it is possible to deliver infinitely greater value to the customer," said Janet Way, head of Learning Services at Global Knowledge.
Delivering high value through managed training services contracts, that are full of complexities unique to each customer, is rarely limited to the quality of training delivery alone. Instead a deep understanding of customer's learning issues is more likely to determine the contract's success. Geographic diversity, business strategy, assessing knowledge levels, managing talent and knowledge resources and contractual management, administration and budgets are some of the learning issues that SOLVE™ helps the management team to identify, understand and resolve.
"SOLVE™ is unique to Global Knowledge and resolves the complexities of large-scale learning programmes by placing professional project management at the heart of each customer's learning issues."
SOLVE™ is part of Global Knowledge's 'Total Learning Approach' service, introduced earlier in 2007 to help to transform the management of large-scale IT training projects and to better serve the increasing number of businesses that now bring in external suppliers to manage their training services contracts.
"Global Knowledge's project managers are Prince2 trained and certified, which means that they use internationally recognised techniques, materials and processes to deliver world-class results every time," added Janet Way.
