Global Knowledge rolls out PRINCE2 training series for 2007
Global Knowledge, Europe's leading provider of learning services for IT and management professionals, has launched a new series of PRINCE2 project management training courses in partnership with specialist project management training consultancy, Pearce Mayfield.
Global Knowledge is running the PRINCE2 Foundation, PRINCE2 Overview, PRINCE2 for Practitioners, and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) training courses throughout 2007 at its dedicated training centres in Wokingham, London, Coventry and Wakefield. This series of PRINCE2 training courses will provide project management personnel with the opportunity to learn the full spectrum of PRINCE2 project management methods, from the basic principles and best practice to the more advanced techniques that enable large-scale projects to be managed and controlled under the methodology.
"The PRINCE2 training courses will deliver considerable value to any organisation looking to make the best possible use of its resources and plan for the future," says Adam Murphy, Product Manager at Global Knowledge.
"Our investment in providing high quality project management courses reflects our commitment to providing our customers with a range of professional skills courses that compliment our market leading ICT courses. The Global Knowledge PRINCE2 training courses focus on educating project workers in best practice and how to organise projects more efficiently and effectively. This makes sense for everyone. Good project management gives everyone involved a sense of satisfaction and ensures that the project has the best possible chance of being an ultimate success and helps the organisation build towards its long-term goals".
The Global Knowledge PRINCE2 training courses have been devised and are being delivered in partnership with Pearce Mayfield, the Oxfordshire-based consultancy whose founder Patrick Mayfield is recognised as a leading figure in the PRINCE2 project management community. PRINCE2 is a popular and well-established standard approach to managing projects. Originally devised by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), it is highly scaleable and applicable to any kind of project in commerce of the public sector.
Frank Hojgaard, UK Managing Director of Global Knowledge believes that the current investment the company is making demonstrates its long-term commitment to its customers and its own success. "Our approach to PRINCE2 further enhances our commitment to being recognised as the UK's leading provider of learning services for IT and management professionals. At a time when a number of our competitors are commoditising the IT and professional skills training marketplace, Global Knowledge is investing heavily in its core curriculum, training and catering facilities, and in our people to ensure that we provide our customers with a quality service that offers great value for money."
