Global Knowledge supports the evolution of Cisco’s CCNA Certification Programme
Global Knowledge, Cisco EMEAR Learning Partner of the Year, today announced the availability of updated courses to support the evolution of Cisco’s CCNA Certification to CCNA Routing and Switching.
The updated Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching Certification, announced by Cisco Systems on the 26th of March 2013, reflects the need for a job-role focused program designed specifically for Routing and Switching engineers. The updated Cisco Certification demonstrates an engineer’s potential value and their training in the installation, monitoring and troubleshooting of small- medium sized enterprise networks.
“The launch of CCNA Routing and Switching is an important evolution for the Cisco Associate level program”, said Melanie Jones, EMEAR Cisco Portfolio Manager at Global Knowledge. “The updated learning content now delivers on the latest technology innovations on Cisco Routers and Switches with Cisco IOS version 15, IPv6 and IOS Licensing being incorporated into the revised program. The increased troubleshooting content will be beneficial to both the student and their employer.”
“CCNA Routing and Switching is now on a par with other Associate-level certifications, such as CCNA Security, CCNA Voice and CCNA Wireless”, stated Jeff Wheeldon, EMEAR Cisco Business Development Director at Global Knowledge.
To support the CCNA Routing and Switching certification, Global Knowledge will be offering the updated training courses Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) v2.0 and Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 (ICND2) v2.0 from April 2013.
“The content changes are significant and in light of this we recommend that all students discuss their training with our knowledge advisors to ensure they achieve a complete learning program”, Jeff Wheeldon added.
Global Knowledge enhances its Cisco training courses with custom, hands-on exercises and labs designed by professionals with real-world Cisco networking experience. Training courses are available in Global Knowledge classrooms worldwide, through Virtual Learning or via private on-site delivery.
