Blended learning for Adobe CS4 hits the UK
The first blended learning courses for Adobe’s new CS4 product range are now available in the UK from Adobe Accredited Provider Highlander.
Unlike traditional classroom training courses, blended learning courses combine a number of days of classroom training together with additional online modules that delegates can then complete remotely. As a result of this blend of classroom and web based learning, the courses cover substantially more content than a traditional pure classroom course, allowing training managers to get far more for their money than would otherwise be the case.
Another distinct advantage of the blended approach is the improved learning experience for delegates. While a traditional course tends to end when the delegates leave the classroom, the ongoing online learning ensures that this is not the case with a blended course. Delegates continue to work online, supported by the instructor, for anything up to 6 months after the classroom sessions finish ensuring a better transfer of skills as a result.
The classroom learning modules are available at Highlander’s fully equipped facilities within the well known Islington Business Design Centre in London, Leeds or at clients own facilities. The online learning modules are all managed through a centralised learning management system and contain flash based video tutorials, hands on exercises, instructor led support forums, and other functionality which enables delegates to maximize their skills development.
Highlander is currently the only Adobe Authorized Training Provider in the UK to run blended learning courses for the Adobe CS4 product range.
