IMC (UK) Learning Ltd wins prestigious World of Learning Award
IMC (UK) Learning Ltd was voted “Training Provider of the Year 2007” at the World of Learning awards ceremony. The World of Learning Awards comprises a number of categories in which individual submissions are voted on by a panel of industry experts. The prestigious “Training Provider of the Year” Award however, gives the training community itself a chance to elect the company it believes most deserving of the accolade and the recognition.
IMC (UK) Learning Ltd launched into the UK market in October 2006 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of IMC AG. Headquartered in Germany, IMC AG was founded in 1997 and has since become firmly established as one of Europe’s leading full service providers of advanced learning and training solutions.
Although present in the UK for only a year IMC is already providing training solutions to major corporations such as E.ON, KPMG, BASF, UBS and Infineon. In addition IMC has been working with a number of clients to enhance the delivery of their training in critical environments where the pressure to learn quickly and effectively in a cost and time efficient manner is driving the need for radical change and the adoption of new technologies. Included in these results-sensitive environments are the training needs of air traffic controllers at NATS in Bournemouth and weapons engineers the Royal Navy’s Maritime Warfare School at HMS Collingwood in Fareham.
Gareth Walters, IMC’s Director of Sales and Marketing in the UK, says: “We are absolutely thrilled with the World of Learning “Training Provider of the Year 2007” Award and very proud that our work in the UK has been recognised by the wider training community in this way. We always try to push the boundaries of innovation to their limits for our clients and business partners and this award shows how much they value our efforts on their behalf. We want to extend a big Thank You to all of our clients voted for us.”
IMC (UK) Learning Ltd is exhibiting on Stand 9 at the Learning Technologies Show at Olympia 2 from the 30th – 31st January 2008.
