iSpring launches case-based bootcamp around everyday L&D challenges
A new three-week iSpring programme will take L&D professionals through three workplace learning cases: onboarding large groups, training deskless employees and turning subject matter expertise into effective learning.
L&D teams rarely work on one neat learning project at a time. A request to onboard hundreds of employees can arrive alongside frontline training requirements and a folder of slides from a subject matter expert that somehow needs to become a course.
These are the situations behind iSpring’s new L&D Launch Bootcamp, a free online programme running from 13 to 22 October.
The bootcamp is built around three cases that reflect different operational challenges faced by L&D teams.
The first looks at mass onboarding under tight deadlines. Participants will examine how onboarding can be structured for large groups such as new hires, seasonal workers, interns and project teams, including where automation can reduce administrative work.
The second turns to deskless and frontline employees, where access itself can become part of the training problem. The session will consider shared devices, on-the-job learning, the role of line managers and ways to track learning when employees do not have a permanent workstation or personal device available.
The third case focuses on a familiar content-development problem: working with subject matter experts. It will look at setting clearer requirements, organising the relationship between SMEs and L&D, evaluating learning content and creating a more repeatable development process.
The format is designed to be more interactive than a conventional presentation-led webinar. Participants will first work with a case themselves before hearing the expert perspective, comparing approaches and applying the ideas to their own work.
Each workshop follows a similar structure, combining a real-world case, participant input, expert guidance, group discussion and an optional assignment.
The programme concludes with a networking session in Miro, giving L&D and instructional design professionals a chance to compare how they are approaching similar challenges.
Alongside the workshops, participants will have access to templates, checklists and an iSpring LMS environment where they can explore how some of the processes discussed during the sessions can be set up in a learning platform.
