e2train helps OEE take classroom training online through Kallidus LMS
e2train, a leading provider of learning and talent management solutions, has been selected to deliver its Kallidus Learning Management System (LMS) and bespoke learning content to operational effectiveness consultancy, OEE (http://www.oee-training.com). Through the new arrangement, OEE clients will purchase content on OEE’s web site and then be seamlessly transferred to the Kallidus LMS platform on which the online training modules are run.
OEE (which stands for Operational Effectiveness and Efficiency) is one of the largest Lean consultancy practices in the UK, providing world class accredited Lean training in a wide variety of sectors. The core idea behind Lean is to maximise customer value while minimising waste.
e2train and Kallidus LMS will help OEE deliver its Lean classroom training programmes online, meaning that OEE clients spend less time away from their desks and are more productive. The first online learning module has seen a full day of classroom training condensed into one and a half hours online.
As part of the agreement, the e2train creative content team worked with OEE’s classroom-based materials to transform them into engaging and interactive online courses. The flexible, modular structure of Kallidus will enable courses to be recreated and then run on Kallidus LMS, an enterprise-wide solution that will enable OEE to deploy, manage, track and report on online training. OEE’s first online course – ‘Introduction to Lean’, which focuses on organisational effectiveness and efficiencies, is already running on Kallidus LMS with more courses to follow.
Many of the courses, designed by e2train for the online environment consist of real-world examples and scenarios. Using the latest artificial intelligence technology, users feel as if they are operating in a real world environment and experience the true effects when the rules of Lean are applied. User interaction will be at the forefront of the courses throughout and include e-learning hotspots, question and answer sessions, and real-time calculations.
