e2train to speak at Learning Technologies on Linking Learning and Performance with Talent Management
e2train, a leading provider of learning and talent management solutions, will be taking to the floor twice at Learning Technologies this week to discuss the growing role talent management and succession planning are playing in L&D today.
In the presentation – ‘Linking Learning and Performance with Talent Management and Succession’, Rob Caul, CEO of e2train and Jane Gardner, former Learning & Talent Development Manager at publishing company Taylor & Francis - a key e2train customer - will stress how essential performance management is to employee and business development and share a series of best practices on how to improve workforce capabilities within organisations.
Areas that will be covered in the presentation will include:
• How to align employee development with strategic objectives;
• Developing a skills analysis of essential competencies for succession planning;
• Identifying skill needs and efficiently evaluating employee learning programmes;
• Aligning business growth with key staff development;
• Ensuring business groups are aligned to organisational goals;
• Reducing training and operational costs associated with manual reviews; and
• Facilitating personal progress and professional development.
“e2train is delighted to be playing such a major role in Learning Technologies again,” said Rob Caul. “In a highly practical but thought provoking presentation, Jane and I look forward to challenging companies to realise the potential of their talent and setting out a number of means of achieving this. With e2train also set to launch the latest version of its learning management system, Kallidus, at Learning Technologies, it’s going to be a busy but rewarding few days!”
The presentation will take place twice – once on Wednesday 25th January (13.45-14.15) in the co-located Learning & Skills exhibition and then again on Thursday 26th January (14.45-15.15) on the Learning & Technologies exhibition floor.
Now in its 13th year, Learning Technologies is one of Europe's leading showcases of technology supported workplace learning. Learning Technologies takes place on January 25-26 at Olympia 2, London.
