- Silver for ‘Best Learning Platform Implementation’ in partnership with JYSK
- Bronze for ‘Best Learning Technologies Project’ (UK Commercial Sector) in partnership with Govia Thameslink Railways (GTR)
The Learning Technologies Awards which recognise and reward outstanding learning technologies, took place on 27 November 2019 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London, where more than 700 industry professionals from around the world gathered to celebrate learning excellence and innovation.
Rob Caul, CEO of Kallidus said: “I’m extremely proud of all the talent in our organisation and how we work in true partnership with customers to develop innovative solutions with industry leading User Experience (UX) that deliver outstanding results. I’m delighted that this collaborative approach has been recognised this year for our teams working with JYSK and GTR and, on an individual level, for Joe winning Gold for Learning Developer of the Year.”
Winning the Silver Award for Best Learning Platform Implementation was a strong validation for the major international implementation of Kallidus Learn to over 12,000 JYSK Nordic employees across 20 countries. Kallidus Learn has enabled a transformation from eLearning to mLearning. The judges said this was “a really well thought through LMS implementation which has made a sea change in the way employees viewed in-store and online sales, and has contributed to a genuine culture change at JYSK”.
As proud winners of the Bronze Best Learning Technologies Project Award, GTR and Kallidus have deliveredthe One Step Ahead initiative to support the modernisation of rail infrastructure, ticketing and passenger services. Employees have benefitted from being able to learn anywhere, anytime, using mobile devices. The judges praised the visual engagement, interactivity and accessibility of the content and said the project “is a great example of shifting mindsets in a largely resistant audience for a digital approach to learning.” They also praised how “the storytelling and voice of the organisation and its customers really shone through and demonstrated the need for compelling and relatable narrative to support behaviour change.”
Winning Gold for Learning Developer of the Year, Joe Turner is a great example of today’s talent in the learning technologies industry. The judges praised Joe’s ability to understand his customers’ needs and to use the best solution to fulfil the brief. They said that what shone through his work was that the key focus is on the learning, recognising his ability to quickly learn new technologies so that solutions are never constrained by the tool or his current skillset.
Philip Pyle, Chief Revenue Officer at Kallidus added: “All three award wins reflect how our people constantly strive to deliver business impact and value to our customers by using learning technologies that are innovative, easy-to-use and engaging. This year’s Learning Technologies Awards have provided a great opportunity for us to showcase how our customers are choosing a mobile-first strategy and our award-winning UX to deliver training programmes that drive behavioural change and business transformation.”
Kallidus was also recently named as a finalist for two prestigious 2020 Learning Awards: External Learning Solution of the Year in partnership with GTR and the Learning Platform Award with JYSK.
