The event provides the only international forum for education and training experts to collectively discuss, debate and consider the face of learning and development for the energy market.

Kineo’s energy learning consultants will be at the show to provide guidance on how to make the best of e-learning and technology based solutions in the energy sector. Kineo is also producing a white paper on the key issues and trends being faced in the Energy Sector and will be giving away a free report covering this topic at the Getenergy show.  To inform this paper, Kineo is running a 5-minute survey to get your input.  To have your views included in the report, complete the survey here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CYNVV8G.

Kineo has a number of clients from within the Energy sector including BP, with whom we’ve developed award winning work. You can read about our work BP on the Kineo website: http://www.kineo.com/energy-utilities-case-studies/bp-blended-learning.html

The Learning Area is open 8am-5pm on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th June, 201.  The daytime Exchange Sessions on the programme provide an exclusive opportunity to hear from and directly speak with key industry individuals.  Over the course of the event, key topics on
the programme include:

  • Competency and standard
  • Education
  • Training resource and provision
  • Strategy
  • Recruitment and on-boarding
  • Career planning and knowledge management

Unlike some other training industry events, Getenergy promises to be a rainbow of colours, not only from the supplier stands, but also the attendees, as delegates are encouraged to wear national dress rather than business suits, helping celebrate the global nature of the event.

Kineo Director Matt Fox, who account manages many of Kineo’s utilities’ clients is looking forward to the show, stating: “The Getenergy show provides a unique opportunity to share our experiences of working with large corporate enterprises from across the globe.

Companies in the energy sector face a complicated and evolving environment, with challenges such as cost pressures, development of new technologies, regulations and skill shortages. At Kineo we have been working with companies to help them meet these challenges with focused e-learning solutions including custom e-learning content and learning platforms.”
