City & Guilds Kineo to showcase new Managed Learning Service at CIPD Learning & Development Show 2014
City & Guilds Kineo, Learning Provider of the Year, is to demonstrate how employers could save a significant amount of their training budgets and deliver a more personalised learning experience, with its new Managed Learning Service at the CIPD’s Learning and Development Show on 30 April and 1 May 2014.
In its seminar at the upcoming event, City & Guilds Kineo will share how its Managed Learning Service (MLS) is transforming the delivery of professional qualifications and apprenticeships through learning technologies. By creating blended programmes that are mapped to national standards and qualifications awarded by City & Guilds, MLS is streamlining administration-heavy training services and helping budgets become up to 50% more productive.
This is accomplished through a unique, single system that combines qualifications, ongoing learning management, e-portfolio technology, reporting and links to funding. Learning programmes are then delivered using elearning, virtual classrooms, face to face sessions and curated content and resources.
The session will demonstrate how MLS is already making an impact. Multinational contract foodservice and support company, Compass Group, which is implementing the new service, has launched seven tailored qualifications with online assessments and expects to save over £250,000 in year 1. The seminar entitled ‘Transforming Qualifications with Learning Technology’ is free to attend and is being held on Wednesday 30 April at 15.15.
The team from City & Guilds will also be on hand throughout the event on stand 392 to provide more insights on MLS, live technology demonstrations including new open source authoring framework, Adapt and Totara learning management system, as well as discussing qualifications, apprenticeships and other workplace learning requirements in detail.
