Kineo Pacific and clients take home five 2017 LearnX Impact Awards
In its tenth year, the LearnX Impact Awards aims to identify and celebrate exceptional accomplishments of individuals and organisations in learning and development. It focuses on the impact of talent development and supporting technologies – areas which Kineo are delighted to be recognised for excellence.
This year Kineo adds five awards to their trophy cabinet made, in the form of three platinum awards and two golds. For two years running, this leading learning technologies company takes home the best learning development company.
The three platinum awards include:
- Best learning management solution deployment - with client Vodafone Hutchison Australia on their Enterprise project. Vodafone wished to shift the delivery of learning from push (Vodafone enrol them in learning) to pull (learners enrol themselves). By creating a central learning platform that allowed learners to control their own learning, Vodafone employees felt empowered to learn collaboratively with colleagues.
- Best free elearning resource - with client ASADA for their project: Ethical decision making in sport. This groundbreaking solution mimicked the already successful ASADA and NISU face-to-face training programme. The online equivalent using the Adapt Framework gives learners a comparable experience that can be accessed anywhere, on any device.
- Best elearning development company – with a focus on Kineo’s work with ASADA. This is the second year Kineo have taken this award home
ASADA Education Manager, Chris Hume, commented
We are pleased to see that the course has been recognised as an outstanding eLearning resource by LearnX.The Ethical Decision Making course was a product of collaboration between Kineo, the National Integrity of Sport Unit and ourselves, and it’s exceeded our expectations in demonstrating that decision making in sport isn’t just black and white.
Nolen Smith, Managing Director of Kineo Pacific, commented
I’m proud to lead a team with such an array of talent and capability across both learning consultancy, content and learning platforms – and this award is a reflection of the hard work the team put into each and every project we deliver.
And it didn’t just stop there, Kineo also took home two gold awards, they include:
- Best game design - with client Health Promotion Agency NZ for their project ServeWise. This game based training needed to up-skill a demographic of 18-24-year-olds in how to correctly sell alcohol. Using 3D animation, rich media and real life scenarios, ServeWise provided a single piece of relevant and engaging training.
- Best behaviour change project - with client Inland Revenue NZ for the project: The Rooms – Information management. The aim of this multi-channel programme was to increase awareness of good Information Management practises and behaviours at Inland Revenue to ensure compliance with the Public Record Act 2005 and to support building the Information and Knowledge Management (IKM) capability.
The team will be presented with this year’s awards during the LearnX summit on the 6th September at Sofitel in Sydney. Kineo will be in attendance at LearnX as co-hosts once again.
