A selection committee from TrainingOutsourcing.com evaluated the corporate competencies and business capabilities of 275 industry-leading providers, including their strategic alignment, content development, portfolio management, delivery, administration, strategic reporting and analysis, leadership, financial strength, geographic reach, technology integration and cultural compatibility.

KnowledgePool was judged to have demonstrated innovation and excellence in 13 capability areas - identified as critical for consideration by training buyers - and in the core competencies required in 22 business processes covering administration, content, delivery and technology.

Dr. Jim Hanlin, Chief Marketing Officer of TrainingOutsourcing.com, said: "Our criteria for selection to the 'Top 20' list was expanded this year to ensure that the most deserving and accomplished companies were recognised for their high quality of training services and comprehensive capabilities. Special attention was given to the use of best practices in learning analytics and evaluation methods as well as demonstrated strategic alignment of training BPO services with client business goals."

Paul Jefferson, CEO of KnowledgePool, said: "This is a great compliment for us and we are delighted to be recognised as one of the world's leading providers of training outsourcing. The 'Top 20' companies recognised by TrainingOutsourcing.com reported significant revenue growth of 32% in learning BPO services from 2005 to 2006 and have projected an additional 30% increase for 2007. This high level of growth shows that training outsourcing is rapidly becoming a preferred business strategy for organisations that want to enhance the value from their learning activities. With our experience and expertise, we're well placed to help clients benefit from a flexible, technology-enabled, vendor-independent managed learning service."

With 40 years' experience in the training industry, KnowledgePool manages learning for major clients such as British Airways, Fujitsu Services, the Home Office, Lloyds TSB and Merrill Lynch. Its six key services are consultancy; training administration; supplier management; bespoke training programmes; evaluation and management intelligence.
