Fife launches Adult Protection e-learning course produced in association with Learning Nexus Ltd
National Learning at Work Day seemed the perfect time to launch the Adult Protection e-learning course, which is the third course in the already successful suite of Fife e-learning Protection courses, including Gender Based Violence and Child Protection.
The course is targeted at 15,000 + cross agency public and private sector staff working for organisations within Fife, including NHS Fife, Fife Council and Fife Constabulary as well a Private Sector care homes, Not for Profit Providers and members of the public.
The course was produced in partnership with Learning Nexus Ltd, one of the UK's leading e-learning course publishers, using the Learning Nexus online collaborative Course Builder & Editor.
The course consists of six modules covering various topics from 'Legislation' to 'Duty to Report' and 'Protection Orders'.
David Kerr, Head of Learning and Development at NHS Fife and Chair of the Adult Protection Committee Training Group said:
"This superb course will help Fife meet clearly identified training needs within the 15,000 + target audience, and thanks to Learning Nexus and their Course Builder & Editor, we and other agencies will be able to amend and update the course when changes in law or best practice occur".
The course is available free as part of Freeshare for Public Sector organisations.
