Learning Nexus, a leader in e-learning creation, has made several new updates to its authoring tool, focussing on its end user’s core e-learning needs.
In 2010, Learning Nexus realised the need for a rapid authoring tool that allows organisations to take any of the ‘generic off-the-shelf’ e-learning that is offered in its catalogue, and personalise it to make it their own, or create their own e-learning from scratch. This cloud-based course builder is also the tool that is used by Learning Nexus to create generic or bespoke e-learning. It has always been ahead of the pack, in that it is available to customers everywhere at any time, allowing them the freedom to create, review and complete all the courses online. Now, in 2012, Learning Nexus has made several new updates and improvements to its authoring tool, to make sure it deserves a place on the leading podium. It is now much easier to use, and has been reshaped to adopt many of the new functionality that Learning Nexus customers requested.
The updated Course Builder from Learning Nexus has been created with the end user’s core needs in mind. Not only can an organisation’s e-learning be an extension of its brand awareness with their own logos and content, but using this tool to create or customise their own e-learning will save them both time and money, two precious resources in the current economic climate. Cloud-based technology allows several users with different access roles to collaboratively work on a course and make immediate amendments without having to tediously review, update and re-upload as you would with other authoring tools. The media library of resources within the Course Builder also puts everything they need – images, audio files, videos and animations – at their fingertips.
