Gold award achievement for Learning Pool and Supercell at Brandon Hall Excellence Awards 2021
Learning Pool, the leading e-learning solutions provider, is delighted to have been awarded Gold in the Brandon Hall Excellence Awards’ 2021 spring program in partnership with mobile gaming company, Supercell.
Run by the leading research and analyst firm, Brandon Hall Group, the Brandon Hall Excellence Awards, comprises two programs annually - spring and fall - and are the largest and longest-running awards program of its kind. Welcoming entries from corporate training, learning, talent, HR and other related departments worldwide that demonstrate a learning program’s ability to measurably benefit an organization and its employees, the Human Capital Management Excellence Awards are given for Learning & Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Sales Performance, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and the Future of Work.
Having scooped various Silver and Gold awards at the Brandon Hall Excellence in Technology Awards, Learning Pool entered the HCM program for the first time in partnership with global mobile-gaming company, Supercell. Headquartered from Helsinki, Finland, Supercell has grown to become one of the industry’s top-earning leaders and since its launch in 2020 has brought five games to the global market - Hay Day, Clash of Clans, Boom Beach, Clash Royale, and Brawl Stars.
In early 2020, it became clear to Supercell that its existing learning system was unfit for purpose, relying heavily on manual administration and ad-hoc content creation. To fulfil its desire to offer first-class development to all employees, the company needed an entirely new platform with enriched content and meaningful experiences.
Together with Learning Pool, Supercell scoped out a solution that would go on to achieve Gold for ‘Best Advance in Learning Technology Implementation’ in the Learning & Development category at the Brandon Hall HCM Excellence Awards 2021. Enabled by innovative learning technology (Learning Pool’s Stream LXP), the company now has a complete learning ecosystem built on three transformation layers -learner experience, engaging content and data and insights - which has become a central component of its L&D strategy.
With entries from the biggest applicant pool in the Brandon Hall Excellence Awards 28-year history, submissions were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts and executives. Each entry was assessed by the following criteria: fit the need, design of the program, functionality, innovation and overall measurable benefits.
Rachel Cooke, Brandon Hall Group’s COO and leader of the HCM Excellence Awards program also said:
“Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards in 2021 provide much-needed and well-deserved recognition to organizations that went above and beyond to support their stakeholders during the unprecedented disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic.” She continued, “The awards provide validation of best practices in all areas of HCM at a time when they have never been more important to employers, employees and customers.”
