L&D community to gather in London for Learning Technologies 2020
Over eight thousand learning professionals head to London for Learning Technologies 2020, Europe’s largest annual workplace learning conference and exhibition; full exhibition seminar programme published; exhibition registration information.
Learning Technologies 2020, Europe’s leading workplace learning event, takes place next week on 12 and 13 February in London. 8,500 learning professionals are expected to attend.
Learning Technologies is 21 years old and celebrates its second year in the new, modern venue of ExCeL in London's Docklands.
The conference is being opened by writer, broadcaster and BBC Radio 4 documentary presenter, Timandra Harkness, with her keynote: ‘Life, Work & Learning in the Personalised Century’. Day two’s opening keynote is from Dr. Daniel Hulme, CEO of Satalia: ‘Artificial Intelligence, the risk, the reward and the extraordinary possibilities’.
Ahead of the event next week, the event organiser has published stats on the most visited conference sessions on its website, an indicator of the most important topics this year, which include the sessions on: emerging technologies, virtual reality, compliance, xAPI, onboarding, marketing learning, self-directed learning, 21st Century learning and video.
“Everything is ready and we’re looking forward to putting on a world-class event for the learning community,” explains event director, Mark Penton.
Learning Technologies 2020 contains an exhibition of over 200 learning providers and a five-track thought leadership conference, where the brightest minds in L&D will present on and debate the most important topics in workplace learning.
In addition, the exhibition contains over 200 free-to-attend seminars for visitors, running across 12 theatres on the exhibition floor. The full programme of exhibition seminars is available on the Learning Technologies event website.
To make the most of the event visitors are encouraged to plan their visit in advance and arrive early at their chosen seminars. Pre-registration for fast access to the show is available on the event website.
“Learning Technologies 2020 contains a huge exhibition hall packed with ideas, theories, case studies, demos, presentations, fun, networking, services, launches, new thinking and most importantly packed with thousands of people facing the same issues and choices that face everyone in L&D,” added Mark Penton.
The event opens at 9 am each day and closes at 5 pm.
