Learning Technologies Awards 2020: programme announced
The Learning Technologies Awards 2020 programme has been announced: awards entry opens; three new categories announced including onboarding, data analytics and COVID-19 response; sponsorship opportunities; key dates announced.
The 2020 Learning Technologies Awards has now been launched. Entry into the Learning Technologies Awards 2020 provides an outstanding opportunity for learning professionals to gain international recognition for their work.
The Learning Technologies Awards attract media coverage from both the learning sector’s media and beyond, helping learning providers to build customer trust and confidence, impress potential investors and provide employees with international recognition for their work.
“There is no greater recognition of your hard work and commitment to the learning industry than winning a Learning Technologies Award, obviously these are challenging times for everyone, we have been pleasantly surprised to see that we’ve already had awards registrations within the first 24 hours of opening and that’s something we’ve never seen before and is a real testament of how resilient and adaptable our community is ” explains event organiser Mark Penton.
Any organisation anywhere in the world, whether public, private or non-profit sector can enter, regardless of size or industry. There are lots of reasons why entering makes good business sense.”
“As well as being a terrific way to showcase the quality of work people produce to as many potential customers as possible, it's also an opportunity to look at your business from a different perspective and compare yourself to your competitors. Winning or even just being shortlisted for an award is an independent endorsement that sets you apart from your competitors,” added Penton.
The glittering gala evening, where the winners are exclusively revealed, will take place on 18 November 2020 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London, and the organisers are working closely with the venue and following government guidelines to ensure we run the event as safely as possible, we want to ensure that everyone gets to celebrate the great and hard work of the L&D sector and are looking at all options available to make sure this happens.
To enter an award organisations first need only choose their categories and register before the June 30 deadline. Written submissions then follow in July followed by an online judging process in September and October.
There are 20 awards categories to choose from, including three new categories covering onboarding, data analytics and COVID-19 response. The complete list of categories for the 2020 programme is available via the Learning Technologies Awards website.
