The unique follow-up to Europe’s leading workplace learning event will take place online this year and will be accessible to everyone for free.

It's happening on 15, 17, 22 and 24 October. Registration for the virtual event is free and opens today.

The Learning Technologies Autumn Forum will explore key topics from April’s conference, with a focus on the one theme that has dominated L&D this year: how do we use emerging technologies to learn effectively at work.

The event's first four sessions are announced:

AI in L&D: the real challenge isn’t the tech
Egle Vinauskaite, Learning Strategist, Nodes
15 October

Unlocking inclusive learning: how generative AI could revolutionise accessibility in eLearning
Michael Osborne, CEO, Accessible Me Ltd
17 October

How AI is transforming learning and why it will never be the same again!
David Perring, Chief Insights Officer, Fosway Group
22 October

Developing AI literacy for L&D
Stella Lee, Director, Paradox Learning
24 October

Learning Technologies Autumn Forum chair, Donald H Taylor, said: “In the two years since the launch of ChatGPT, public perception of AI and generative AI in particular has moved from being an exciting novelty to an interesting and powerful, but flawed reality. There is no doubt that it’s here to stay. So how can we use it, and other emerging technologies, to best effect?”

“And these changes extend well beyond technology itself. As L&D professionals, we must always include the human side of our work at the individual and organisational level. It’s not just a matter of knowing how people learn, although that is crucial. It’s also a matter of understanding how they change, how we can help that happen, and the responsibilities we have on the way. Ultimately, our role is always about people.”

Registration is free of charge via the Learning Technologies Autumn Forum website.
