Webinar offers practical guidance ahead of awards submission deadline.

With the deadline for entries fast approaching, the Learning Technologies Awards team is set to host a live webinar offering practical guidance to entrants aiming to refine their submissions.

Scheduled for Friday 11 July, the session Behind the Judges’ Table: What Makes an Award-Winning Entry, will bring together two experienced judges, Emma Klosson and Tony Frascina, for a candid discussion facilitated by Tom McDowall, Director at The Learning Network.

The one-hour event is designed to give prospective entrants a clearer understanding of what judges look for, where submissions commonly fall short, and how to craft a more compelling narrative. The session will include advice on articulating impact, evidencing outcomes, and aligning to judging criteria, with time allocated for live Q&A.

Emma Klosson, Manager of Awards & Recognition at SweetRush and Tony Frascina, an independent learning consultant at Objective Training Design, bring a combined breadth of experience from reviewing hundreds of entries across categories. Tom McDowall, an established voice in the digital learning community, will moderate.

The Learning Technologies Awards remain one of the industry’s most competitive benchmarks, with categories spanning innovation, platform delivery, skills development and learning design.

Registration is free and open to all from first-time applicants to returning finalists seeking to sharpen their edge.
