Learnlight is delighted to announce that, in collaboration with Novartis, it won the Bronze award for the Excellence in Partnership honor at the Chief Learning Officer awards 2019.

The CLO Learning in Practice awards, organized by CLO Media, recognize learning leaders who have demonstrated excellence in the design and delivery of employee development programs. Started in 2003, the awards have become a benchmark of quality and innovation within the learning industry. Each year more than 200 nominations are received for the various categories.

The Excellence in partnership award applauds suppliers that have effectively supported a client’s learning and development function to set strategy or establish or implement a program via consulting whole or partial outsources services. Learnlight and Novartis were nominated for their collaborative project in transforming their language training program.

Novartis implemented a revolutionary digital and virtual language training strategy at global level, resulting in increased engagement, ROI and training consistency.  Novartis partnered with Learnlight to deliver training in six languages as part of this digital transformation initiative.

Since its launch in 2018, Learnlight has onboarded to its Learning Platform, more than 10,000 Novartis employees and in more than 120 countries.

Simon Brown, Chief Learning Officer at Novartis says of the nomination, ‘The new virtual language training solution, through the partnership with Learnlight, perfectly supports our strategy of ‘Going Big on Learning’ and the development of a more digital culture. It supports new approaches to work and learn, in a more accessible and user-friendly way.’

Benjamin Joseph, Chief Executive Officer states, ‘Winning this award is testament to how we view our clients: we see them as partnerships where we have common aims in terms of delivering innovative and impactful corporate training programs. Novartis is such an amazing partner to work with, so winning this award shows we are taking the right strategy with our clients’.

This success follows the 2018 gold award for Blended Learning that recognized Learnlight for deploying a variety of tools in support for a client’s learning program. To be considered for the gold, silver or bronze award, Learnlight had to demonstrate how it delivered engaging learning using multiple modalities. It successfully showcased this approach with its high-impact digital transformation program for Deutsche Telekom, reaching over 4,000 employees in over 30 countries.
