Tata Interactive Systems gears up to host the Tata Learning Forum 2005 - at the Executive Leadership Center at the Boston University School of Management - with key speakers tackling the major learning issues of the day.

Strategies for success in implementing learning and training programs and getting better ROI through innovations are among the key issues under discussion at the Tata Learning Forum (TLF) 2005. Championing the motto 'interact, innovate, inspire', TLF 2005 brings together senior executives from leading global organizations, and educational institutions, along with publishers of learning materials.

Being held, this year, at the Executive Leadership Center at the Boston University School of Management in Boston MA, on September 19 and 20, TLF 2005 contains a 'corporate' and an 'education' track, with speakers drawn from Aetna, Abbot Labs, ACS, UPS, and Raytheon, as well as Boston University, California Lutheran University and the University of Phoenix, among others.

Topics being covered include:

* Operational frameworks for effective learning strategies
* Diversity and cultural aspects of implementing global training programs
* HR and Training processes outsourcing and their impact organizational learning
* Innovative simulation based approaches to senior leadership and corporate strategy training
* A panel on the success factors for some of the largest and most respected programs in online education - including certification programs for finance professionals, degree programs in electrical engineering, simulation enhanced business education and so on
* Quality in online education

The forum will offer an opportunity for senior level executives to interact with their industry peers, gain insights into creative solutions used elsewhere, learn about innovative training practices, and learn from the experience of some of the most successful e-learning initiatives around the world - including the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Manoj Kutty, the worldwide president of sales and marketing at TIS, commented: "Organized by Tata Interactive Systems (TIS), one of the world's largest developers of custom e-learning solutions, the TLF underscores TIS's' leadership position in the industry".

TLF 2005 comprises of a series of interactive sessions and panel discussions on a wide range of issues and opportunities in e-learning. Some 20 speakers and panelists will participate, drawn from Fortune 500 companies representing industry segments like banking, airlines, consumer goods, publishing, education, and telecom. These speakers will discuss different dimensions of training and development, such as blended learning, simulation-based learning, story-based learning, and adaptive assessments.

"Every time we meet a client, we talk to them about the experiences we have had with other clients and how that experience benefits a new assignment", said Kutty. "TLF 2005 formalizes this process, allowing our clients to talk to each other directly and share their experiences".

This is the second annual TLF. The first was held in New York, in September 2004, and attracted over 100 representatives from more than 65 companies.
