National Federation of Property Professionals Awarding Body switches to Pearson VUE to offer greater accessibility to key industry certification
Property professionals across the UK can now pursue industry-specific certification more widely than ever before, thanks to an agreement between Pearson VUE and the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFoPP) Awarding Body, the provider of qualifications for the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA).
Around 14,000 NAEA and ARLA members - professionals operating in
the real estate letting and sales sector - will benefit from the
largest, most secure test centre network in the world, following
the organisation's transition from its previous computer-based
testing provider. Able to sit any of 47 computer-based exams at a
centre located close to their home or place of work, professionals
can pursue industry-recognised certification on demand at any of
over 160 Pearson Professional Centres across the UK.
The partnership between the NFoPP Awarding Body and Pearson VUE,
the computer-based testing business of Pearson, provides successful
professionals with demonstrable proof of their understanding of
residential letting and property management practices. The range of
specialisms on offer allow professionals to add Technical Award,
Certificate and Diploma certifications to their credentials by
undertaking exams in distraction-free and highly secure testing
environments.
Venetia Knight, Qualifications Manager for the NFoPP Awarding
Body, said:
"Having previously assessed with another CBT provider, we
transitioned to Pearson VUE based on its reputation and the fact
that it boasts the largest, most secure test centre network. The
move will allow our members greater flexibility regarding when and
where they sit NFoPP Awarding Body exams. As well as being highly
regarded by employers, certified members offer assurance to the
public as they possess tangible evidence of being knowledgeable and
skilled professionals."
The exclusive multi-year agreement also supports the NAEA and
ARLA's aim to encourage employment of its members for property
transactions.
Suzana Lopes, Pearson VUE, Managing Director - New Markets,
commented:
"Improving candidates' journeys towards more rewarding careers is
one of our key commitments, and coupled with our extensive
experience, sees us ideally placed to meet the NFoPP Awarding
Body's future assessment needs. Delivering a number of different
exams UK-wide, aimed at a cross-section of industry professionals,
allows us to help advance careers while ensuring that the NFoPP
Awarding Body benefits from the most comprehensive and robust
solution on the market."
