Godus, SingStar and Hololens producers join Preloaded production team to take games beyond entertainment into education, training and health sectors
BAFTA-winning games studio Preloaded has made a series of high-profile hires as it seeks to establish itself as the world’s leading producer of Applied Games. Industry veterans Charu Desodt from Microsoft Lift, Jemma Harris from 22 Cans and Yukiko Goto from Sony's London Studio have been hired to bolster Preloaded’s team of brilliant gaming minds.
Announced today is the latest addition to the Preloaded team, Microsoft Lift’s Charu Desodt. The 2014 BAFTA Breakthrough Brit joins the team in their stylish new studio in The Arts Building, Finsbury Park, as they look towards widening interests in the use of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) in education, training and health.
Jemma Harris brings along eight years of experience, her previous studios include Lionhead Studio’s and more recently as Production Manager, then start-up 22Cans, where she masterminded the release of the awarding winning games 'Curiosity: What’s inside the cube?' and the regenesis of the god-game genre, Godus.
Finally, new recruit Yukiko Goto brings over eight years’ experience to the studio, releasing titles such as SingStar, Gran Turismo 5 and Ratchet & Clank series whilst at Sony London Studio.

This announcement follows Preloaded’s plans to seed a US studio with a view to establishing itself as a global leader in Applied Games.
