The new functionality is designed to increase comprehension and knowledge retention, powered by AI

Rise Up, one of Europe’s leading all-in-one learning providers, has announced the launch of Memorisation, a new training feature that is designed to take personalised learning to the next level.

Learners forget 70% of knowledge gained within 24 hours*. As an integral part of Rise Up’s Learning Management System (LMS), Memorisation will combat this phenomenon by leveraging AI and intelligent reinforcement. The new capability is part of a wider mission to put adaptive learning at the heart of Rise Up's learning suite to accelerate time-to-skill and knowledge retention, driving greater return-on-investment (ROI) from learning for businesses.

Commenting on the new feature, Chief Learning Officer at Rise Up, Frédéric Hebert said: “Without structured reinforcement, critical knowledge fades fast. A focus on helping learners retain knowledge is critical. Memorisation personalises review intervals based on the learner's performance, which means challenging topics can be revisited more often. On average, this adaptive learning process will help to ‘lock in’ learning in as little as three to five months.”

The innovative feature aims to increase the ROI from training by reinforcing knowledge at the right time. The technology uses spaced repetition to schedule personalised reviews and adjust reminders based on each user's pace. Once activated, those who have completed the course will be automatically enrolled in the Memorisation session, accessible via Rise Up’s LMS on both web and mobile. This reduces the time spent on training while increasing its effectiveness.

CEO at Rise Up, Arnaud Blachon added: “The traditional one-size-fits-all approach to training is no longer fit for purpose, because every learner absorbs and retains information differently. That is why we are natively integrating adaptive learning into our LMS, making it a core part of the learning experience. We believe the future of learning is truly adaptive, personalised and responsive to the individual, resulting in long-term knowledge retention.”

With a global footprint spanning 650 clients and five million active users across more than 80 countries, Rise Up has experienced considerable growth over the past year, fuelled by strategic acquisitions and technological innovations powered by AI. To find out more, visit the website.
