Saba Meeting Cited for Its Low-Bandwidth Usage and Offering of Student Interaction Controls to Support Instructors in Virtual Classroom Scenarios

Saba Cloud’s Webconferencing product was evaluated in a field of 11 industry products, each with at least 70,000 paid users, 2,000 corporate accounts and support for collaborative Web meetings.
Saba’s Webconferencing product offers many self-service controls to support instructors in virtual classroom scenarios. The current offering – evaluated by Forrester on nine groups of criteria (platform support, user experience, scheduled meeting features, ad hoc meeting features, in-meeting features, recording and playback, audioconferencing, video conferencing and management) – received a score of 4.2, the second highest in the category, with scores spanning from 3.05 to 4.28. According to the report, “Many customers choose Saba Meeting for its low bandwidth usage, including its ability to work well on bursty networks like VSATs.”
