Microsoft and Saffron Interactive launch internal Induction in a Box programme using Silverlight technology

Saffron Interactive, one of Europe's leading e-learning, mobile and blended learning companies, is proud to announce the launch of a new Induction in a Box course for Microsoft.
Microsoft and Saffron have collaborated on a number of occasions previously and on this project Silverlight technology was used to deliver even more innovative and effective training.
The aim was to replace the existing face to face induction with an online solution without losing the personal connection that is so crucial to an induction's success. Saffron's Induction in a Box solution uses videos to maintain the human element and uses Silverlight to create PDA style navigation through the training.
Working with Silverlight was a great success, as it supports high quality 3D graphics and smooth animation rendering. It also reduces overall development time by allowing designers and developers to work in parallel.
