Saffron Interactive’s survey on workplace stress and mental resilience

UKLearning NewsSaffron Interactive

Having developed online courses on mental health for TfL and Amnesty International, the bespoke digital learning company Saffron Interactive is launching a new online survey on workplace resilience. It aims to benchmark how organisations are measuring the impact of mental distress and what they are doing to address it.

'Mental resilience programmes are rightly at the very top of the agenda for many corporates,' says Noorie Sazen, CEO at Saffron. '1 in 5 British people are now suffering from anxiety or depression, which is costing the UK billions in lost productivity. The big question for most organisations now is not whether to take action on resilience, but how to make the biggest impact.'

Saffron Interactive is a specialist in developing digital learning experiences on soft skills and business change. It has tackled mental health and resilience in courses for Transport for London and Amnesty International that use a combination of diagnostics, story-telling and tailored action plans to break down taboos and change behaviours.

'The privacy of a well-designed online course is a better place than many for getting people emotionally invested with the topic and taking action,' says Toby Harris, creative lead at Saffron, 'and the knock-on effect of a successful programme is real cultural change. At Transport for London our course helped achieve a £7.8 million reduction in paid absence by changing culture.'

Results of the survey will be anonymised, and anyone who completes it will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three Kindle Paperwhite e-readers, and will receive a free copy of the benchmarking report later this year.
