Saffron Interactive and Amec Foster Wheeler shortlisted for Learning Technologies award
Saffron Interactive, award-winning provider of digital learning solutions, has been shortlisted for Best learning technologies project - international commercial sector at the Learning Technologies Awards. The nomination comes for their work with Amec Foster Wheeler on developing a global programme entitled Pathway to people management.
The Learning Technologies Awards are dedicated to the celebration of the most outstanding learning projects and products from across the globe. Their independent judging panel of over 40 learning experts scoured hundreds of digital experience courses, until they were left with just a final few.
“The shortlisting recognises the immense positive impact this programme has made to managers acting as leads in the organisation,” says Karim Ladak, Saffron’s Programme director; “it distinguishes excellence across content, technology, and user design to embed leadership behaviours and drive results.”
The most valuable asset in any business is its people. It is this simple idea that inspired Saffron Interactive, in collaboration with Amec Foster Wheeler, to create ‘Pathway to people management.’ This online program uses the immersive power of interactive video to engage and excite its leaners, as they play through twenty different workplace-based simulations. The modular, branched narrative encompassing five essential areas of team management and people development has been completed by thousands of learners across the world.
The success that has led to it being shortlisted relies on motivating behaviour change using a far-reaching and realistic consequence-based system that replicates the complexity of the learner’s day-to-day challenges. Using behavioural insights to achieve transformational change is unique to Saffron, as verified by its recent Learning and Performance Institute accreditation.
The winning projects will be announced at the Learning Technologies Awards Gala evening on 29 November.
