Saffron Interactive to address the skills crisis at Learning Technologies 2019
In the past year, 91% of organisations struggled to find talent with the skills they require. At this year’s Learning Technologies Conference and Exhibition, Saffron Interactive will showcase the strategy and technology needed to overcome that. Transferable and new skills assessment, point-of-need virtual assistants and chatbots to build capability can be tried on Saffron's stand.
The skills people need at work are changing fast. Organisations spent £6.3 billion on trying to patch up the holes in their workforce skills capacity.
The workforce itself is changing too, with the labour force in Europe projected to decrease by an average of 2 million every year between 2010 and 2030 and digital disruption claiming many traditional roles. This ongoing crisis requires learning departments to upskill themselves and to reskill their workforces quickly, embedding a culture of continuous learning.
The Saffron Interactive team will be available at the show to discuss your learning challenges and demo their game-changing new tools including Saffron eaSe and Saffbot.
“We’re seeing a real dilemma as digital disruption and the Fourth Revolution are unleashed on an ageing workforce, causing a skills shortage” said Noorie Sazen, Saffron CEO. “That’s why we need to help learners acquire, hone and retain the skills they need to stay relevant and keep organisations flourishing.”
Saffron’s not-to-be-missed seminar will explain how to:
- Diagnose skills and performance gaps in your workforce
- Assess transferable skills
- Enable your people to acquire new skills
- Accelerate performance, acquisition and application of skills in the workplace
- Embed a culture of continuous learning
- Use the new generation of digital learning tools to help every generation of employee reach their full potential
The seminar will take place at the following times:
- Wednesday 31 January: 11:00 in Theatre 3
- Thursday 2 February: 11:45 in Theatre 3
Learners can try some of these new digital learning tools in action in Learning Technologies’ new Demo Zone at 11:15 on Day 2, or at any time on Saffron’s stand, B50. Friend of Saffron, Richemont’s Florence Dambricourt, will also be part of an essential panel on campaign-based learning on Day 2.
Saffron will also be sponsoring The Saffron Pit Stop, a café right next to their stand, so attendees can drop by to get a taste of the latest thinking and technology whilst grabbing a coffee to refuel. Attendees who join Saffron’s mailing list before the show will be eligible for a free coffee voucher upon receipt of the pre-show email.
This year is the 19th consecutive year that Saffron have sponsored the Learning Technologies show. “Saffron have been a committed sponsor of the show since its inception, and we’re delighted to welcome them back for yet another year”, states Mark Penton, Event Director at Closerstill Media. “Their continued support matches their longstanding success and experience in the learning sphere.”
More information on Saffron’s presence at the show and how to attend is available via the LT2019 web site, and attendees can book a meeting with saffron. The event takes place on 13-14 February at ExCeL, London.
