Snap Inc. and Sponge unveil groundbreaking worldwide digital AR Learning Hub
The project marks the realisation of Snap Inc.’s dream of enabling a global community of users to bring their AR ideas to life.
Bristol, UK - 11 March - Snap Inc, the California-based technology company, and digital learning provider Sponge are celebrating the successful launch of the Snap AR Learning Hub, created as part of Snap Inc.'s innovative vision to bring augmented reality (AR) learning to the masses. Combining Snap's expertise in creating engaging and immersive AR experiences through platforms like Snapchat, combined with Sponge Learning's proficiency in innovative digital learning solutions, the partnership introduces a dynamic platform set to redefine democratised AR education. This groundbreaking initiative provides accessible, engaging AR learning content to support Snap's community of over 350,000 AR developers worldwide.
Seeking to empower more people to become AR creators, Snap approached Sponge with the task of creating a public-facing AR training platform to support and grow their active community of developers. The Snap AR Learning Hub features bite-sized, micro-learning modules and social features to lower the barrier to entry and inspire a new generation of AR developers.
