Bristol, UK - 13 May 2025 - Atlassian and Sponge are celebrating the successful launch of Atlassian Learning, a comprehensive visual ecosystem designed to elevate customer education on Atlassian’s platforms. This collaboration pairs Atlassian's industry-leading software products with innovative learning approaches to create a powerful customer education solution that makes learning more accessible and seamlessly integrated into daily workflows.  

The reimagined Atlassian Learning marks a significant evolution in how the company supports its global user base across its renowned product suite, which includes Trello, Jira, and Confluence—tools that have become essential to the daily operations of businesses worldwide. 

In 2025, Atlassian made a strategic decision to invest in a complete reinvention of their learning ecosystem. The company sought to revitalise their public learning platform with a branded experience that helps customers connect, grow, and, in their words, "get s##t done." Working in close partnership with Atlassian's internal learning teams, the project delivered a comprehensive overhaul of the learning brand and all its design touchpoints.

The modernised learning system helps Atlassian's customers quickly master their products through simple, helpful learning built directly into the Atlassian experience. Long-form content has been transformed into user-friendly, bite-sized modules, while a new diagnostic tool optimises learner journeys by guiding users toward courses aligned with their specific goals. 

From foundational courses like Trello Fundamentals to advanced topics such as JQL queries, the learning offerings include real-world examples that enable learners to apply knowledge in practical simulations. Visual and motion design teams have enhanced the experience with engaging video assets that bring the learning to life. 

The partnership between Atlassian and Sponge, which began in 2020, has focused on enhancing customer education and driving product adoption through what was formerly known as Atlassian University. Over time, Atlassian Learning has evolved into more than just a training portal—it has become an essential component of their customer success strategy, empowering users to extract maximum value from Atlassian's powerful suite of tools.
