TACK International launches results of global Making Learning Stick in Action research at Learning Live 2016
Leading global training and development consultancy TACK International is to deliver a Business Solutions workshop and reveal insights from its global research study into effective learning transfer at this year’s popular industry event, organised by the Learning and Performance Institute.
As pressure on L&D budgets increase and with the importance of ensuring effective transfer of learning accelerating, TACK, together with sister company TMI International, conducted a research study to discover perspectives on learning transfer, identifying key components required to effectively ‘make learning stick’ and maximise investments in learning and development.
In the workshop ‘Keeping Learning Live in the workplace – Global Insights on Making Learning Stick’, TACK and TMI International’s Global Proposition Manager Sally-Ann Huson invites attendees to hear the results of the Making Learning Stick in Action research study, share their reactions and contribute their own ideas and experiences on learning transfer through voting and group exercises.
The session will be held on the second day of the Learning Live conference and will mark the official launch of the company’s new Making Learning Stick model and the ‘In Action’ research report. TACK International representatives, including Sally-Ann Huson and Head of Sales, Michael Copestake, will be discussing the results at Stand Number 3 for the duration of the two day event.
In the run up to the event, Sally-Ann Huson commented: “We are so looking forward to participating at Learning Live as Exhibitors and Speakers this year – a key industry event with a rich programme of workshops planned. We are particularly excited to share the results of this global survey with the industry and gather further insight into how effective learning transfer truly is in industry.”
Global Marketing Manager, Jonathan Cox, added “Learning Live is a fitting platform for launching our real-world insights into learning transfer. TACK International has been at the forefront of learning and development since its inception in 1948 - we’re excited to not only contribute to informing the industry with these ‘current reality’ research findings, but also discuss the future of L&D with our peers.”
