The Learning Network has published the conference programme for Connect 2022, 15 November London. Event cancelled... The organisers have announced that Connect 2022 is cancelled.

Statement from Learning Network...

Further to a lot of discussion, the Board and I are regretfully cancelling this year’s event.

While we have marketed every aspect of Connect and communicated the benefits and value of attending to members and the wider L&D community, ticket sales have been slower than expected.

At this stage, we don’t have enough participants to make it a good and enjoyable experience for all and we know we won’t attract enough registrations between now and the end of October to make the event viable to run. We’ve had to take the difficult decision now to reduce expense, monetary or otherwise, and minimise risk for everyone involved - delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors.

Upon reflection, we’re very aware there are numerous face-to-face events available to the L&D community all year-round. Most provide learning and networking experiences with little or no cost to individuals to attend. While Connect is a unique event we’re aware we may need to reconsider our offering for future years. As members we welcome your thoughts on what events you would like from your Network - please do let us know in the Members’ Slack channel.

I send my sincere apologies for any disruption this decision may cause.

Best wishes,
Gemma
