Connect 2025 Preview
The Intersection of Humanity and Technology: A look ahead to the Learning Network's annual conference in London, 14 November.
There is a debate in workplace learning about how we balance AI and new technology with human skills. We hear a great amount about ethics, empathy and equity, and there’s early evidence that creativity and problem solving may be diminished or ‘cognitively offloaded’.
If you work in learning, or anywhere touched by AI, you’ll have heard a lot about the importance of human skills. The challenge now is cutting through the noise, moving the conversation forward and asking how learning and development can take a lead on these skills.
That’s the focus of Connect 2025. The Learning Network is bringing learning professionals together on the 14th November at St Paul’s in London for its annual conference. The theme is The Intersection of Humanity and Technology. Chair of the Learning Network, Rebecca McDowall, explains what's in store on Learning News.
