Upside Learning To Help Organizations Design eLearning For iPads Through A Session At Learning Technologies 2013
In line with its key themes for the year – eLearning on iPads (tablets) and mEnablement – Upside Learning will be presenting a learning session titled ‘Designing eLearning for iPads’ at Learning Technologies 2013. Scheduled on the 29th at 12.30 PM, the session will be presented by Amit Garg and Alan Samuel.
While designing eLearning for iPads may appear relatively straight forward, given somewhat similar display areas to laptops and PCs, the context in which the iPad will be used, the ever increasing usage on the move and the changing user preferences, makes designing for iPads different and challenging. Further, the dilemma over whether to convert existing eLearning courseware into tablet compatible format or to create fresh courseware adds to the challenge.
Upside Learning will be addressing these and other such significant challenges related to tablet learning at its Learning Technologies 2013’s learning session. Titled ‘Designing eLearning for iPads’ the session will be delivered by Upside Learning’s Co–founder and Director of Custom Learning Solutions, Amit Garg, and Director – Client Solutions (Europe), Alan Samuel. Designing eLearning for iPads is slated for 29th January at 12:30 p.m. in Seminar Theatre 3.
Commenting on the upcoming session, Amit Garg, said, “eLearning on iPads is seen as one of the fastest growing and upcoming trend in workplace learning, but when it comes to designing eLearning for iPads, the battle is still on. We see Learning Technologies as a perfect platform to share our views and experience pertaining to this topic, recommend some effective designing ideas and at the same time, learn what others are thinking about it.”
Adding to this, Alan Samuel, commented, “Packed with ideas and suggestions, our session will highlight key concern areas pertaining to the design and delivery of eLearning on iPads. We will also share success stories of some of our clients who have adopted eLearning on iPads and are greatly benefiting from it. “
Besides attending this insightful learning session, attendees can get a copy of ‘eLearning on iPads – 10 Bright Ideas’ at Upside Learning’s stand #55. This leaflet will unveil the 10 key tips to be kept in mind while creating eLearning for iPads (and other tablets).
