Walkgrove reports strong performance in 2012/13
Walkgrove consolidates its position as one of the UK's leading learning solutions consultancies: reports continued growth and profit; business win rate increase; new contracts with large customers; new product investments made.
Walkgrove has announced another year of growth and profit in its UK-based learning solutions business and several further important indicators are giving rise to increased confidence for the firm.
Managing Director, Sarah Smith, said, "Analysis of our bid success rate showed that we won 47% of all opportunities tendered for this year- this is a testimony to the innovation and originality of the award-winning solutions we offer to our ever-growing client base".
Whilst continuing to serve existing clients, Walkgrove is also enjoying success in the corporate sector; winning business from a diverse range of international organisations including Telefonica, Tesco, Maximus and Babcock. Its translation and localisation services, where required, are both quick and cost effective.
Commercial Director Andy Wiles said, "E-learnity recently referred to Walkgrove as 'a hidden treasure', and we took this as a wake-up call. So this year, we have invested in raising our profile through various marketing activities. Increased business indicates that this is working".
Shortlisted for a 2013 E-Learning Network Award for its ground-breaking work with Oxfam GB, Walkgrove continues to win business in the third sector both globally and locally, including key projects with The Sea Cadets, UNICEF and Sport England. They also developed and host multi-lingual e-learning versions of the Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Response Manual; the definitive reference publication for all emergency aid organisations.
Exciting new learning products include its competitively priced 70-20-10 social learning platform, Svelte Social, and the extension of its existing Ready to Go range to include bite-size generic, SCORM compliant e-learning programs - Ready to Go Fundamentals.
"Refreshingly different, they can be purchased as an integrated fully hosted and branded system for any organisation looking to trial or prove the concept of e-learning without major capital investment. Or, they are available as individual or bundled products to organisations that already have LMSs and who want to offer something a bit different to their staff. Both these new initiatives reflect the quality of instructional design that is unequivocally the Walkgrove trademark."
