Blue Eskimo to sponsor LPI onboarding award
The learning industry’s leading recruitment provider, Blue Eskimo, is to sponsor the LPI’s ‘Onboarding Programme of the Year’ award.
Blue Eskimo, the specialist recruitment provider to both commercial learning companies and corporate L&D departments, is this year sponsoring the Learning & Performance Institute’s ‘Onboarding Programme of the Year’.
The selected finalists for this award are AIG, Farmfoods & Sponge UK, Elephants don’t forget, Infosys BPO, Pearson & Landscape and Portugal Telecom.
Nick Bate, director at Blue Eskimo, says that the recruitment provider is proud to sponsor the award. “The Learning Awards don’t just recognise success,” says Bate, “they also help to inspire others and ultimately drive up standards in the sector. Being part of a process that helps the sector to grow, and be recognised for its unique value, is something that fits perfectly with our own business ethos.”
This will be the twentieth year of the awards, a “real milestone” according to Bate. “Like the training they celebrate, the awards are also one of the sector’s great success stories. For many organisations, powerful learning initiatives can go unnoticed and uncelebrated, part of business as usual. The Learning Awards have become a focal point for sharing success, enabling learning professionals to inspire each other, and learn from each other.”
Colin Steed, chief executive at the Learning & Performance Institute, is delighted with Blue Eskimo’s sponsorship. “Blue Eskimo is a unique organisation,” says Steed, “in that it not only services the learning sector, it works hard to be a real part of that sector too. It’s great to have them on board.”
The award is one from just fourteen categories, the winner of which will be revealed at the LPI’s Annual Learning Awards, to be held at The Dorchester in London, on 4 February 2016.
